Dr. Renninger has been in private practice in Bellevue for over 30 years. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan. He subsequently became a naval officer for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). He came to the Pacific Northwest in 1977 as a marine weather forecaster for the National Weather Service. He injured his back and became interested in chiropractic care. He then graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1981.

Dr. Renninger specializes in the traditional chiropractic approach, which is spinal manipulation using a diversified approach. He utilizes various techniques, including low force techniques that do not involve manipulation. Dr. Renninger’s focus is typically on short term care with the emphasis not only on chiropractic adjustments, but also on exercise and stretching.

Dr. Renninger also provides independent chiropractic examinations, or second opinion examinations. He is an approved medical examiner for the State of Washington Department of Labor & Industries, a diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics from The American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO) and a Certified Independent Chiropractic Examiner (CICE) from the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME). Dr. Renninger works well with the local medical community. He refers his patients to the medical community when needed, and receives many referrals from medical physicians who want their patients to receive chiropractic manipulative therapy.

Dr. Renninger is a charter member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association and is currently treasurer of the Washington Association of Independent Medical Examiners.
